Job summary

Cititec is recruiting for a Senior Commodity Business Analyst to join a major transformation programme in London. The role bridges front office and technology, focusing on building a new global position reporting platform across Gas, Power, LNG and Oil.

The ideal candidate will have strong BA experience in commodities/energy, exposure to position reporting and experience working with traders, plus familiarity with ETRM/CTRM systems.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Analysis experience within commodities/Energy.
• Proven experience with position reporting / exposure.
• Experience working directly with traders or other front-office users.
• Exposure to one or more ETRM/CTRM platforms.
• Broader commodity exposure across Gas, Power, LNG and/or Oil is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of how position reporting works within a commodity trading environment.

I’m currently recruiting for a Commodity Business Analyst to join a leading global commodities trading business on a major transformation programme.

The business is building a new global position reporting platform as part of a wider strategic data programme, and they’re looking for someone who can bridge the gap between the front office and technology.

The role:

• Work closely with traders and front-office stakeholders to understand requirements


• Analyse and improve existing position reporting and exposure processes


• Help shape and deliver a new global position reporting capability


• Work across commodities including Gas, Power, LNG and/or Oil


• Collaborate with technology, data and business teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
