Are you passionate about data andmarket analysis that aims to ensure people can be supported to live healthy andfulfilling lives?As a Senior Commissioning Manager, you will lead a teamto undertake market analysis, demand modelling and forecasting, and develop arange of analytical tools that enable the Commissioning and Quality StandardsDivision of the Adult Social Care and Public Health directorate to fulfil itsduties in relation to shaping, managing and sustaining the local social careand preventative services market. You will get to build on your experience ofworking within an Adult Social Care and/or Public Health environment to bringstrategic insight into service development and health improvement across bothRichmond and Wandsworth. About therole
Reporting to the AssistantDirector of Commissioning – Public Health and Wellbeing, you will have a keyrole to play in the Adult Social Care and Public Health Directorate.Yourexpert knowledge of business intelligence and the systems required to supporteffective commissioning of services will enable the Commissioning and QualityStandards Division to ensure that local people get high quality, fit forpurpose services.Equally, your excellent knowledge of social care andhealth policy legislation, and sound understanding of developments intechnology, including AI, will help to develop our service models, procure newproviders if necessary and make sure they perform at their best.Incollaboration with internal colleagues, you will ensure there is synergy acrossall data and intelligence functions in the department, while showcasing yourhigh level analytical, data analysis and problem-solving skills.
At the same time, you will bemanaging a team of four people, whilst supporting commissioners to embrace newopportunities to make our services both innovative and efficient.Thatcalls for proven experience in a similar role, where you have gained a trackrecord in improving service provision through the analysis of businessintelligence data sources and use of analytical tools and techniques.Withthis expertise, plus your excellent interpersonal skills, you will inspirestaff, support Commissioning and Quality Standards colleagues to maximise partnerrelationships and earn trust and credibility.
