Gearing Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a specialised Civil Engineering contractor for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support a major water and wastewater project in Southport. This long-term freelance role focuses on testing, commissioning and integration of MEICA systems, pumps, pipework and control equipment, with responsibility for safe handover to the client.

The role requires strong collaboration with construction teams and subcontractors, with a focus on

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years' commissioning or engineering experience.
• Experience with water or wastewater projects.
• Strong inspection, testing and documentation skills.
• Valid CSCS card and right to work in the UK.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and procedures.

Mansioni

• Plan and deliver commissioning across MEICA systems.
• Test, verify and handover completed systems to client.
• Collaborate with construction teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain comprehensive commissioning records and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and project specs.
