JN Bentley Ltd is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our regional delivery team supporting Wessex Water projects across the South of England. You will lead commissioning across instrumentation, LV/MCCs, PLCs and SCADA, and manage contractors to deliver safe, compliant handovers.

You will develop commissioning plans, oversee outages, validate QA via ITPs and As Constructed records, mentor engineers and build strong client relationships while travelling within the region and working

Competenze

• CSCS and SSSTS
• HNC/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Working toward professional registration
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and MEICA construction
• Good knowledge of process instrumentation, P&IDs, and relevant UK/international standards (Regulatory, Client and WIMES)
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region

Mansioni

• Manage contractors and technical delivery across instrumentation, industrial networks, LVDBs/MCCs, PLCs and SCADA installations
• Lead process commissioning activities, including developing commissioning plans and integrating design, construction and commissioning
• Support pre-construction through surveys, scoping and compliance, and oversee outage planning, maintenance requirements, SSOW and RAMS
• Drive QA through ITPs, acceptance documents, training materials and completion documentation, while managing “As Constructed” commissioning records
• Deliver functional commissioning of electrical assets and instrumentation, perform sampling and lab analysis, and maintain regulatory outputs
• Lead and mentor Process Commissioning Engineers, chair commissioning/outage meetings and build strong client relationships
