Job Description:

Senior Commissioning Engineer required for our client; a leading specialist in smoke ventilation, with over 30 years' experience in the industry, providing installation and maintenance.

Due to expansion, they are looking to hire an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to join their team based in the Hertfordshire area. You will be covering works Nationwide, so being happy with travel and some stay away is a necessity.

You will be expected to perform commissioning on mechanical extract systems and other smoke ventilation systems within the ventilation industry, manage projects to ensure they are completed on time and provide quotations for clients.

• To be able to wire, fix & commission Mechanical Extract Systems
• To be able to wire, fix & commission a wide range of smoke ventilation products from a range of manufacturers
• To be able to manage large or small installations and ensure that the team you are working with are working to the correct design and standards as per the drawings provided.
• To be able to communicate with other trades to ensure smooth completion of a project
• NVQ Electrical installations or equivalent
• At least 5 years' experience in commissioning extract or smoke ventilation systems
• SSSTS or higher
• JIB/ECS card Holder
• Span set, PASMA, IPAF
• Working knowledge of ADB; BS EN 12101; BS 9999; BS 9991 & BS 7346 pt 8
• Working knowledge of multiple manufacturers equipment e.g Colt, SCS, FDS & SE Controls
• Current full clean driving licence.
• NIC/IC electrical tester
