The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for the accurate and timely calculation, processing, and reporting of sales incentives. This role requires a strong understanding of commission plans, excellent analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail. You will collaborate with all Go-To-Market teams to ensure commission payments are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Your Mission:

  • Commission Calculation and Processing:
  • Calculate and process monthly/quarterly/annual sales incentives based on established commission plans and sales data
  • Verify the accuracy of sales data and commission calculations
  • Generate commission statements and reports for individuals and management
  • Process commission adjustments and corrections as needed.

  • Maintain and update commission plan documentation
  • Ensuring plan compliance and rollout in collaboration with Management and cross-functional teams
  • Interpret and apply commission plan rules and guidelines
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new commission plans and structures
  • Provide guidance and support to sales representatives regarding commission plan inquiries

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze commission data to identify trends and discrepancies
  • Prepare and distribute commission reports to management and sales teams
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested
  • Maintain accurate and organized commission records

  • System Administration and Maintenance:
  • Utilize and maintain commission management software and systems
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the commission systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues and work with DS/IT to resolve problems

  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to resolve commission-related issues
  • Respond to commission inquiries from sales representatives in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate commission policies and procedures effectively
  • Participate in audits as needed

  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to commission processing
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive commission data

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience in commission administration, sales operations, or a related field
  • Proven experience in calculating and processing sales commissions and knowledge of sales and commission structures
  • Experience working with commission management software or systems and ability to learn new software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with CaptivateIQ and Salesforce
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce
  • Experience in the Software industry
