Senior Commercial Underwriter
MCR Centre
£50,000 - £60,000
2 days hybrid

Working for one of the largest Insurers in the UK who have a huge global presence, this role is working within their mid-market and mid-corporate risk department, utilising your industry knowledge and technical underwriting experience to provide a best-in-class service.

In this role you will work closely with trading underwriters to negotiate coverage, terms and pricing that set the organisation apart in order to meet client needs. You will cultivate a strong pipeline of growth opportunities by leveraging relationships with clients and brokers.

The role:

1. Underwriting within Casualty and Property product lines within Commercial Insurance.
2. Underwriting new business profitably, adhering to established underwriting controls and practices.
3. Serving as a referral point within the branch for new business and renewals.

What we are looking for:

1. Commercial Insurance underwriting experience within an Insurer environment, with a speciality within Casualty and Property.
2. Experience working on new business with an ability to consistently hit targets.
3. The ability to build strong relationships with brokers.
4. An individual with a name in the Manchester Underwriting market.
