Senior Commercial Sales Manager - Events & Sponsorship, Wimbledon (Hybrid/Flexible) | £35,000-£42,000 base + commission (higher base considered for the right candidate)

Are you an experienced sales professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and reaching meaningful targets? Take ownership of sponsorship sales for a major manufacturing event series that welcomes over 13,500 delegates and 450 sponsors each year.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing sponsorship sales across four key shows held in June.
  • Looking after clients across the UK, US & EU - with your own designated portfolio.
  • Proactively generating new business through outbound telephone calls and managing warm inbound leads.
  • Meeting clients in person and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities, including cross-selling with a digital manufacturing publication.
  • Meeting an annual revenue target of around £330K in sponsorship sales.
Requirements:
  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally within events or exhibitions.
  • Comfortable making proactive outbound telephone calls.
  • Confident in building rapport with clients face-to-face.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth areas.
  • Motivated to contribute from day one and adaptable to a fast-moving environment.
