This role is ideal for a confident and independent professional looking to work on a broad range of high-value, complex transactions within a respected legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on all aspects of commercial property transactions
• Draft, review, and negotiate leases, contracts, and related legal documents
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for acquisitions and disposals
• Manage landlord and tenant matters, including licences to assign, underlet, and alter
• Handle new commercial lease agreements (acting for both landlords and tenants)
• Act for borrowers and lenders in purchase, refinance, and loan transactions
• Provide guidance on Section 106 agreements
• Advise on VAT-elected property issues
• Collaborate with team members and clients to achieve optimal outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
• Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate
• At least 7 years PQE in commercial property law
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proven track record in managing complex cases independently
• Ability to handle all aspects of legal work like file opening, billing, and Land Registry applications
