Job summary

Siemens Energy in Manchester seeks an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our Gas Services – Controls and Digitalization team. You will report to the Head of Finance and support project delivery with PMs in the UK and Ireland.

The role focuses on co-leading projects, managing financial results, protecting contractual rights, and ensuring commercial requirements are met. Site visits UK/Ireland and ownership of OPW/OnePM are included.

Qualifications

• Finance and commercial function experience in a complex business.
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and assertiveness.
• Proven tenacity to see topics through to completion.
• Ability to build sustainable relationships with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Co-leading projects with the PM to manage financial results and risk.
• Ensure commercial requirements and protect contractual rights.
• Prepare commercial documentation for status meetings.
• Participate in contract negotiations, claims management, and variations.
• Manage financial guarantees, bonds and project securities.
• Project Controlling and revenue/profit forecast accuracy.
• Site visits across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
• Own OPW and OnePM processes commercially.
