Job Title: Senior Commercial Officer

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: up to GBP44,000

Senior Commercial Officer role overview:

Based in Portsmouth, our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Officer who is looking to take a step up in a more senior role. You will be responsible for ensuring the business's contractual requirements are fulfilled effectively and efficiently.

What the Senior Commercial Officer role will involve:

1. Providing guidance to colleagues to ensure contractual obligations are understood and met.
2. Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager in securing funding, generating proposals and developing Task Approval Forms.
3. Proactive monitoring of tasks requiring customer approval.
4. Monitoring contract performance and change requests.
5. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

1. Experience in a similar Commercial role.
2. Knowledge and experience of UK defence industry.
3. Facilities management experience would be advantageous.
4. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
