Job summary

Assystem in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support major defence projects. You will provide commercial and contractual expertise across the full project lifecycle, ensuring cost management, risk control, procurement support, and commercial governance on complex construction and engineering programmes.

Qualifications

Must have strong NEC contract experience, preferably NEC4 Professional Services.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel to at least intermediate level.
Ideally degreed in Quantity Surveying.
Able to manage and prioritise competing priorities.
Working to high levels of accuracy and contract compliance.
Ideally prior CEMAR experience.
Security Clearance will need to be attained for this role.

Responsibilities

Contract administration for existing contracts and related tasks.
Provide commercial advice to the Contract Leads.
Ensure contract timelines are met (management of CEMAR).
Prepare applications for payment.
Support cost control, forecasting and reporting.
Support weekly and monthly progress meetings.
Liaise with the client and project managers.
