We’re looking for a strategic and operationally minded Commercial Manager (or Marketplace Operations Manager) to lead the development and performance of ourPayment and Shippingoffering. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring a seamless, scalable, and customer-centric experience across our marketplace as we introduce Transactions and Delivery to the site. You’ll be responsible for driving commercial outcomes, go-to-market strategies, improving operational efficiency, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance the end-to-end shipping and payment journey for buyers and sellers. Location: London, hybrid working applies with 3 days in the office.
About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Consumer Growth, you’ll own the Commercial Strategy and Operational execution of our Payments and Shipping product. Your key responsibilities will be focussed around executing on our clear Ship and Pay product vision, ensuring this is aligned with the overarching company strategy & business goals. You’ll undertake project management, ensuring complete oversight of the initiative, flagging up and acting up on risks and opportunities where appropriate. You’ll own the Go-To-Market Strategy to drive adoption and revenue growth. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for marketplace operations, owning the operational performance and establishing a strong feedback loop for continuous enhancements. You’ll be highly data and insights driven, conducting thorough market research and commercial analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities and to report on results. This is a highly cross functional role where you’ll work closely with product, engineering, commercial and operations team across UK and China to ensure alignment and effective execution of business initiatives.
