Stride Treglown is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager (Associate Director level) to strengthen governance and support project leaders across live UK projects. This is a pan-practice role focused on commercial health, risk visibility, and protecting project viability while maintaining client relationships.

You will lead contract reviews, change management, and provide practical guidance across bids and delivery, traveling across UK studios as needed.

Qualifications

• Substantial commercial management experience within construction or design consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and novation.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent negotiation and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across UK studios.

Responsabilités

• Review bids, fee proposals, scopes, exclusions, and consultant appointments.
• Advise on contracts, novation, procurement, liability positions, warranties.
• Suggest mitigations and new fee positions on high-risk projects.
• Identify early commercial risks and support change control.
• Support dispute avoidance and claims management on live projects.
• Develop commercial reporting for leadership and committees.
