Job description

Are you a highly motivated individual with previous Contracts and Account Management experience?

We are supporting a company based in Slough who are recruiting for a full time Senior Commercial Manager. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week and paying a salary of 60k per annum. This role offers hybrid working; however, you must be able to drive/have your own car and be able to commute/travel to different locations for meetings.

Duties will include:

  • Responding promptly and professionally to inbound and outbound enquiries
  • Managing and supporting the Sales and Account Management teams to help maintain high levels of client satisfaction, sales, and growth
  • Monitoring and reviewing KPIs and contributing to budgets and reports to ensure sale targets are achieved for the business to improve performance and maximize growth
  • Identifying new business opportunities, contributing to business strategies and developing commercial products to support business objectives
  • Responsible for the financial management of commercial projects
  • Ensuring business activities comply with regulations, compliance, and policies, as well as identifying risks liability and commitments of contractual arrangements
  • Drafting, approving, and managing contract documentation
  • Responsible for building relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Implementing opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies across the business
  • Organising procurement activities and undertaking commercial due diligence of new suppliers
  • Supporting the creation of proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients
  • Reporting to the Head of Commercial and supporting them with ad hoc tasks when required

To be successful, you must have previous experience working within a commercial role, with strong knowledge of different contract types such as Services, Goods, SaaS, and Software Licences. You must also have excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and experience in developing and managing commercial processes and procedures.
