Senior Commercial Manager

Gleeds Energy is recruiting experienced Commercial Managers for our Nuclear New Build team, working on projects like Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C, vital for Britain’s energy independence and transition to sustainable energy.

As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will manage commercial relationships with suppliers, be the main contact for all supply chain and contractual matters, and collaborate with stakeholders across projects.

About You

What we are looking for in our next Senior Commercial Manager

Experience
  • Relevant experience in construction procurement and commercial management. Experience in nuclear, civil engineering, or engineering sectors is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven ability to work within complex projects in procurement and post-procurement phases.
  • Broad knowledge of procurement, supply chain, cost, and commercial management, including familiarity with standard contract forms like FIDIC and NEC, and Public Contract Regulations 2015. Personal skills such as communication, ambition, and energy are also important.
Qualifications
  • HNC, HND, or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Law, or related fields. Candidates with engineering backgrounds may also be considered.
  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS, or similar is desirable and supported if not yet attained.
