The Role:

Ready to fuel growth across the UK rail and transport sectors? In this role, you'll build powerful partnerships, close key contracts, and optimize our ticketing success. Collaborating with teams worldwide, you'll drive innovation, smash ambitious sales targets, and help Trip.com become a leader in the UK market.

In this Role, you'll:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the UK rail market and other transportation sectors (coach, ferry).
  • Identify and secure partnerships with key players in the UK rail sector and related suppliers, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
  • Negotiate and secure contracts with rail operators, ensuring competitive offerings and expanding our ticketing services.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing rail partners to ensure high-quality service and continuous sales growth.
  • Monitor and optimize the online sales channel strategy for rail tickets, working with internal teams to refine campaigns and improve performance.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and other data to identify opportunities for growth and new partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, social media, product teams, and offshore campaign teams, to achieve common goals and drive overall success.
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets in the UK market, striving for market leadership.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with the Trip.com HQ team in Shanghai, providing updates and insights from the UK market.

What you'll Need to Succeed:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, with strong connections in the UK rail ticketing market or transportation sector.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, establishing strong partnerships, and driving growth in competitive markets.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK rail ticketing market, its dynamics, and key industry players.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Data-driven, with a talent for analyzing trends and identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Ready to adapt quickly to market changes and evolving strategies.
