The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is seeking a Procurement and Contract Manager to deliver procurement and contract management across CMA, covering spend categories such as People Services, Technology, Corporate, Buildings and Market Research.

You will require MCIPS or an equivalent qualification, and experience in public sector procurement and supplier management. The role offers flexible/hybrid working, generous leave and a competitive Civil Service pension.

You will deliver procurement and contract management functions across the CMA. This will involve the placement and management of contracts across a variety of spend categories, including People Services, Technology, Corporate, Buildings and Market Research. You’ll also have the opportunity to shape commercial business in the CMA and deliver marketplace insight and expertise.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be professionally qualified (MCIPS) or have a suitable equivalent (or working towards). You’ll have experience of successfully delivering procurement activity within a public sector environment or similarly regulated sectors. It is also important that you have knowledge and demonstrable experience of both contract and supplier management, and commercial contracting in relevant areas.
