Job Description:

Role: Senior Commercial Manager
Location: London (1-2 days/week in office)
Rate: £480 - £550 per day
Outside IR35 / Long-term contract

We're recruiting a Senior Commercial Manager to join a leading main contractor on a high profile, heavy civil engineering project in the South East. This long-term contract role is outside IR35 and involves working within a small commercial team on a major civil engineering package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial management from Target Outrun Costs setting to final account
  • NEC contract administration and change management
  • Management of subcontract/supply chain packages
  • Cost control, earned value, and financial reporting


Requirements

  • Major civils project experience (e.g. nuclear, rail, highways, water)
  • Strong NEC contract knowledge
  • Proven skills in commercial awareness, client liaison, project management and team leadership
  • Chartered (MRICS, MCIOB, MICES) or equivalent experience
  • Based within reach of London for 1-2 office days per week
