About the Project

Bouygues Travaux Publics (TP) and Laing O'Rourke, two of Europe's leading engineering and construction firms, have formed a joint venture named BYLOR. They are delivering the main civil engineering works at Hinkley Point C (HPC), valued at over £2.8 billion.

BYLOR is responsible for the Design & Build (D&B), including fit-out and handover of the HBX Operations Service Centre (OSC) within Hinkley Point C. This building serves multiple functions—warehouse, office, laboratory, restaurant—and connects to both Unit 1 & 2 Turbine Halls via sky bridges.

Position: Senior Commercial Manager

We seek a Senior Commercial Manager with experience overseeing the financial management of complex, high-value projects from tendering through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies, manage risks, negotiate contracts, and ensure commercial success.
• Lead project activities related to risk management, procurement, financial reporting, and supply chain management.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to governance standards.

Requirements

• Experience delivering large projects (£100 million+).
• Chartered status (MRICS, ICES, CIOB).
• Experience with NEC Option C contracts.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
