• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager within Facilities Management, Healthcare Estates or Infrastructure services.
• Strong understanding of Healthcare PFI contracts and payment mechanisms.
• Experience managing complex contractual relationships and lifecycle programmes.
• Demonstrable success delivering commercial improvements and financial performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Experience leading commercial teams within a high-value service environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a strategic and analytical mindset.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar discipline.
• MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial activities across a complex Healthcare PFI contract.
• Manage contract profitability, cost control and margin improvement initiatives.
• Oversee lifecycle programme commercial management and change control processes.
• Lead negotiation of contractual variations, compensation events and service amendments.
• Provide commercial governance and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Manage and develop commercial teams, quantity surveyors and commercial analysts.
• Drive effective subcontractor procurement and commercial performance management.
• Ensure compliance with PFI contractual obligations and payment mechanisms.
• Support business planning, forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Build strong relationships with NHS Trust stakeholders, SPVs, investors and supply chain partners.
