Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the Co-op account, combining strategic oversight with operational delivery. The role balances internal collaboration with external negotiations to drive growth and profitability across a high-profile retail partner.

Based on a hybrid pattern with on-site collaboration in Manchester and Birmingham, you will steer forecasting, budgeting and category initiatives while building strong relationships with retailers and internal teams.

Location: 1 x day per week at Coop Head Office in Manchester and 2 x days per week at our Head Office in Birmingham

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Hybrid working core hours

About the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Controller, you will be responsible for leading both the strategic and day-to-day management of the Co-op account. Working closely with key stakeholders internally and externally, you'll drive growth, maximise profitability and strengthen an already successful customer partnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic and operational management of the Co-op account.
• Deliver sustainable sales growth and maximise account profitability.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage conversations, with a focus on driving improvement
• Drive exceptional customer service and ensure delivery against customer expectations.
• Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and category growth initiatives

About You

You’re an experienced commercial professional with a background in food manufacturing and a proven ability to manage customer relationships at pace. You bring excellent commercial acumen, confidence in leading negotiations, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.

Key Skills

• Experience in a similar Commercial Manager, Customer Manager or Account Manager role within food manufacturing or FMCG
• Proven experience managing relationships with major grocery or convenience retailers
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Ability to build credible relationships and influence stakeholders both internally and externally
• Fresh food or fresh produce experience
