Job description

We’re looking for a results-driven Senior Commercial Manager to lead category growth across Discount, Wholesale, Convenience, Retail, E-commerce, and Pharmacy sectors. You’ll take ownership of a supplier sub-sector, driving sales and profitability, negotiating competitive terms, and recovering costs for residual and out-of-date stock. Managing a team of Commercial Managers and Junior Commercial Managers, you’ll work closely with suppliers to implement joint business plans and develop growth strategies aligned with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop your commercial team to deliver annual budgetary targets.

Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and improved profit margins.

Implement category management strategies tailored to each customer sector.

Recover costs on residuals, overstocks, and expired goods.

Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice for medicines and medical devices.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a similar commercial leadership role.

Proven negotiation and influencing skills at all levels.

Strong commercial awareness, analytical ability, and forecasting skills.

Team management experience and a collaborative approach.

Advanced Excel skills and effective presentation abilities.
