Job description

Immediate requirement for a Qualified Senior Commercial Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation based in Burnley. The primary focus of the role is to provide management with meaningful, accurate, and timely financial information to support decision-making. This role requires working in a matrix structure, collaborating closely with the FD, MD, Commercial Managers, and Financial Controllers.

The role will require you to fulfill the following:

1. Month-End Project accounting to ensure that month-end procedures are accurate and timely
2. Management Reporting
3. Forecasting, Budgeting - Preparation & consolidation of fortnightly forecasting and annual budget information
4. Other Financial Analysis

Ideally, you will have the following skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in a Commercial Finance or Management Accounting role
• Experience working in a matrix financial organization is advantageous
• Experience using SAP and Hyperion
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Excel, Access, & PowerPoint, including data analysis/filtering, pivots, lookups, and macro creation
• Experience developing systems to transform finance processes

This position is offered on a 6-month contract, with a strong potential to lead to a permanent role. Interview slots are available over the next 7 days.
