GOOD LAW INTL is looking for a Senior well experienced Litigation Solicitor to supervise a team of talented NQ solicitors and paralegals.

Our wide and diverse range of clients comprises international businesses, high net-worth individuals, executives, professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, students, and families. We are now looking for a Litigation Solicitor to join our Team.

The key skills for the role include a high commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, confidence, speed, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, ability to build rapport with partners and clients, independence in ability to manage caseload, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and deliver targets.

The key responsibilities would include meeting clients, providing practical advice, taking initial instructions, carrying due diligence, establishing relevant facts and key dates and taking continuous instructions, conducting legal research and keeping up to date with changes in the law. This role comprises advising clients on contentious work, litigation issues, business, commercial and contract breach. In addition, the role includes carrying out legal research on relevant law and precedents, formulating rigorous correspondence to relevant parties, and, in the near future, supervising junior trainees.

Practical experience would include: advising clients on all stages of litigation, making and defending money claims, and negotiating settlements. Drafting Pre Action Protocol letters.

Making interim applications (summary judgment, strike out, stay of proceedings).

Advising and negotiating on the sale, purchase and transfer of businesses and shares, and preparing the required documents such as share transfer agreements, shareholders agreements, articles of association, and resolutions.

Preparing various commercial agreements such as franchise agreements, loan agreements, service agreements, and management agreements.

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years PQE with a view to become a Solicitor Manager/Supervisor/COLP to lead a team and possibly become a partner in 3-5 years.
