Overview

Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor

A Birmingham Commercial Litigation team requires an experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to work on complex projects involving PFI, projects and infrastructure disputes.

Responsibilities

• Advise on disputes relating to PFI contracts or similar forms of public-private partnerships (both pre- and post-proceedings) and provide commercially focused, practical guidance.
• Work closely with clients and be technically proficient in all aspects of litigation in the High Court.
• Undertake a wide range of high quality and complex disputes work for public and private sector clients across a variety of sectors.
• Utilise experience with complex and high value disputes, both before and after proceedings, in accordance with Civil Procedure Rules and alternative forms of dispute resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience of complex and high value disputes, including pre- and post-proceedings.
• Strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and alternative dispute resolution.
• Commercially minded solicitor with experience advising on disputes relating to PFI contracts or PPPs.
