Job summary

MiCiM is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial management of complex data centre projects. You will work with project teams, clients, subcontractors and senior leadership to shape outcomes from procurement through to final account.

This is a commercially driven role requiring strong cost control, risk management and governance, with mentoring of project commercial teams and a track record in construction.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial aspects of construction projects.
• Strong cost control, contracts, procurement and risk management.
• Proven ability to lead commercial strategy, reporting and stakeholder discussions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and team leadership skills.
• Experience in data centres or mission-critical projects is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading commercial and financial management across complex construction projects.
• Overseeing cost reporting, forecasting, CVRs and commercial governance.
• Managing procurement strategy, tender reviews and subcontractor appointments.
• Driving change control, valuations, payment processes and final account agreements.
• Providing commercial leadership, mentoring and guidance to project commercial teams.
