Job summary

Jobs.co.uk is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to deliver service, maintenance and installation on commercial sites. Based from Swindon, you will cover the M4 corridor with occasional stays away and must hold CODNCO1, CIGA1 and ICPN1 tickets along with a full UK driving licence.

The role is full‑time with a salary of £45,000–£50,000 plus a company van, 8% employer pension and strong progression prospects.

Qualifications

• Five years post‑qualification experience in commercial gas engineering.
• Strong experience in commercial gas servicing, maintenance and breakdowns.
• Experience with commercial heating and mechanical installations.
• Knowledge of pipework, pump sets and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gas and heating systems.
• Diagnosing faults and performing reactive breakdown repairs.
• Installing commercial gas and heating systems.
• Undertaking mechanical installation work (pipework, pumps, plumbing).
• Covering the M4 corridor and sites further afield with occasional overnight stays.
• Participating in a shared out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
• Traveling to sites across the region and beyond.
