Role Introduction

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing SaaS company? We are looking for an experienced and driven Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between finance and business functions, providing strategic insights that drive business performance.

What You Will Do
  • Engage with senior management stakeholders, including Divisional MDs, to challenge their thinking and support informed decision-making.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve performance and management information.
  • Contribute to the management team of business units, responsible for operational performance.
  • Relay financial information, provide insights on business performance, challenge assumptions, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Guide the business on strategic planning to align organizational objectives.
  • Provide real-time support and analysis for decision-making.
  • Become a trusted advisor and critical friend to the business.
  • Manage month-end processes and identify streamlining opportunities.
  • Lead forecasting and planning for the division.
  • Collaborate with finance teams and peers to deliver high-quality reporting, forecasting, and analysis, supporting transformational change.
What You Will Have
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, Excel skills, and writing abilities.
  • Solid background in accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is advantageous.
  • Experience working within finance or operational functions is advantageous.
  • Exposure to BI and Performance Management tools.
  • Experience in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-cultural environment.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
  • Proactive, insightful, and commercially aware.
  • Knowledge of finance systems.
  • Can-do attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Leadership experience or participation in programs is advantageous.
