Role Introduction

This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between finance and business functions, providing strategic insights that drive business performance.
What You Will Do
- Engage with senior management stakeholders, including Divisional MDs, to challenge their thinking and support informed decision-making.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve performance and management information.
- Contribute to the management team of business units, responsible for operational performance.
- Relay financial information, provide insights on business performance, challenge assumptions, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Guide the business on strategic planning to align organizational objectives.
- Provide real-time support and analysis for decision-making.
- Become a trusted advisor and critical friend to the business.
- Manage month-end processes and identify streamlining opportunities.
- Lead forecasting and planning for the division.
- Collaborate with finance teams and peers to deliver high-quality reporting, forecasting, and analysis, supporting transformational change.
What You Will Have
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, Excel skills, and writing abilities.
- Solid background in accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and financial modeling.
- Experience with Salesforce.com is advantageous.
- Experience working within finance or operational functions is advantageous.
- Exposure to BI and Performance Management tools.
- Experience in a corporate environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-cultural environment.
- Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
- Proactive, insightful, and commercially aware.
- Knowledge of finance systems.
- Can-do attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
- Leadership experience or participation in programs is advantageous.
