Senior Commercial Finance Broker – Elite Role (Not Entry-Level)
Location: Hammersmith, London | Office-based | Self-employed Option Available

Compensation:

  • Employed: £120k+ OTE in Year One
  • Validation: 4x revenue structure — transparent and proven

Capricorn Financial — London’s most successful independent mortgage brokerage — is expanding its Commercial Division with a rare opportunity for a top-performing, senior commercial finance broker.

This role is not suitable for trainees, juniors, or generalist mortgage advisers.

We are seeking a strategically minded dealmaker with:

  • Proven delivery of £5m+ commercial or semi-commercial lending volumes
  • Existing relationships with developers, investors, and business owners
  • A background in private banking, SME finance, or structured commercial lending

Experience:

  • 3+ years in commercial lending, development finance, or HNW advisory
  • Direct exposure to complex, structured loans and deal packaging
  • CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), with excellent financial acumen

Background:

  • Likely ex-Private Bank (e.g., Coutts, Handelsbanken, C Hoare, Barclays Private) or top-tier brokerage
  • Track record of originating and closing significant commercial transactions
  • Experience running or building a brokerage function is a plus

Mindset:

  • Strategic thinker and self-starter — commercially mature, proactive, and credible
  • Confident advising entrepreneurs, property developers, and sophisticated borrowers
  • Hungry to scale in a high-performance, zero-politics environment

Remuneration Options:

Employed Route:

  • Base + performance bonus
  • Fast progression into higher validation tiers

Self-Employed Route:

  • 70–85% of gross earnings retained
  • Full operational infrastructure — minus the back-office drag
