The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst sits within the commercial Finance team and is required to conduct financial analysis and due diligence of the supplier charges in preparation for the organisation to move to a multi-supplier service model. The post holder will work closely with stakeholders in the Commercial function to ensure agreed commercial outcomes are delivered and value for money is demonstrated. You will be required to build relationships with strategic suppliers, analyse data presented by suppliers and challenge when necessary. The role will enable strategic decision-making surrounding Business Transformation Programme (BTP) deliverables with the provision of robust financial management information. The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will work closely with colleagues across the business and have exposure to Corporate Planning, P&L forecasting and budgeting, supporting the wider finance team as required.
The successful Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will have extensive experience in developing and delivering financial models to enable forecasting and planning as well as challenging costs in a dynamic commercial environment. Ideally you will have a demonstrable track record of making recommendations and influencing people to deliver business goals. It is essential that you are a qualified CCAB accountant and are a confident user of MS Excel.
An initial salary of £52,300 (Outside of London), £56,000 (London) plus an excellent benefits package including the opportunity to join the Civil Service Pension Scheme. Please note, this is a 23 month fixed term contract.
