Contract: Full-time, Permanent (38.75 hours per week)

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire

Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum

We’re seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Commercial Finance Team. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, lead forecasting processes, and support key business decisions that shape our organisation’s future.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Data Analysis: Provide advanced insights by analysing key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and patterns to influence decision-making.
  2. Own Forecasting Processes: Take responsibility for creating accurate financial forecasts, and adding strategic commentary to support planning and budgeting.
  3. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to understand the drivers behind monthly performance and present actionable insights.
  4. Develop Business Cases: Create detailed business cases for initiatives like pricing strategies, new site openings/closures, and capital investments.
  5. Support Exec Reviews: Manage the preparation of materials for senior leadership, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  6. Mentor Junior Team Members: Share your expertise to guide and develop less experienced analysts, contributing to a high-performing team.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Fully or nearly qualified in a recognised finance or accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA).
  2. Experienced in a similar role, such as FP&A Analyst, Commercial Finance Analyst, Finance Analyst, or Management Accountant (looking to move into an analyst position within finance).
  3. Holds advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, CountIFs, VlookUps etc.) and ability to present data insights and findings in an actionable way.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage and interpret complex data.
  5. Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all financial reporting tasks.
  6. Outstanding communication skills, with experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
