Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Analyst in our Commercial Finance team. This role involves financial planning, performance management, and collaborating with senior management to understand and model business drivers.

The role

As a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be a key business partner, providing financial insights to support strategic decisions. Responsibilities include business partnering, financial modelling, performance analysis, and supporting business planning.

• Business partnering: support and analyze stakeholder needs, understand business operations.
• FlexiPay product: develop financial models for loan issuance and profitability, interpret risk team outputs.
• Develop and maintain financial models for planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for efficiency, profitability, and growth.
• Identify risks and issues proactively, and mitigate them effectively.

What we’re looking for

• Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in financial services, including IFRS 9 and relevant principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
