PureGym Group in London is seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to lead planning, budgeting and comprehensive financial reporting for the Switzerland business unit, with Capex/ROI appraisal and cross-functional business partnering.

You will manage the reforecast and annual budgets, maintain the integrated planning model, support Capex reporting, and work with senior stakeholders to drive estate optimisation and strategic investment decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified accountant with 3–4 years’ PQE.
• Strong understanding of primary financial statements, especially cashflow.
• Demonstrable FP&A experience and business partnering skills.
• Excellent financial modelling, analytical and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Take responsibility for the planning, management, and delivery of the reforecast and annual budgeting processes.
• Own the integrated business planning model, ensuring integrity of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow, and implementing improvements over time.
• Provide extensive support to the internal Capex committee through development of accurate capex reporting and analysis.
• Business Partner the Head of Commercial Finance and Property Teams on lease renewal negotiations and highlighting opportunities for estate optimisation.
• Take ownership of all investment feasibility models (new site and refurbishments) and deliver continual improvements to these to assist key strategic decision making.
• Track and drive performance of Investment Projects (new site and refurbs).
• Provide the CH FD and MD with a monthly performance pack containing analysis of the business unit performance.
• Produce the monthly board report to Group, and maintenance of monthly financial model.
• Be involved in many ad-hoc business initiatives: providing commercial challenges and analytical support.
• Improve the commerciality and financial awareness of non-finance teams.
• Provide support to the Head of Commercial Finance on ad-hoc projects and tasks, as required.

The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst leads the financial planning processes and delivers the monthly commercial reporting for the Switzerland business unit. With an additional focus on Capex/ROI appraisal and analysis, and business partnering the Swiss property team.

Day to day the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will:

• Take responsibility for the planning, management, and delivery of the reforecast and annual budgeting processes.
• Own the integrated business planning model, ensuring integrity of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow, and implementing improvements over time. To be the cashflow expert of the commercial finance function – both forward and backwards looking.
• Provide extensive support to the internal Capex committee through development of accurate capex reporting and analysis, working with key stakeholders to ensure robust processes and controls are operating.
• Business Partner the Head of Commercial Finance and Property Teams on lease renewal negotiations and highlighting opportunities for estate optimisation.
• Take ownership of all investment feasibility models (new site and refurbishments) and deliver continual improvements to these to assist key strategic decision making.

The Person

• Qualified accountant with at least 3-4 years’ PQE.
• Strong accountancy understanding across all primary financial statements

particularly cashflow.

• Demonstrable commercial skills, ideally with experience working in an FP&A

function or transaction services teams.

• Exceptional proven financial modelling, analytical and presentation skills.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ideally, experience of working with multi-dimensional databases (MIS tools).
• Preferably able to demonstrate experience and/or understanding of multi-site

industries such as retail/leisure.

• Evidence of dealing with senior management and working cross functionally.
• Demonstrable business partnering skills, able to build effective working

relationships outside of the Finance function.

• Able to self-motivate and work to strict deadlines.
• Effective prioritisation skills, and able to demonstrate flexibility in working

practices.
