Senior Commercial Executive (German Speaker)

£29,000 - £40,000 DOE + Commission + Excellent Benefits

Award-winning, international events company is looking to hire a highly driven, fluent German-speaking Senior Sales Executive.

The successful Senior Commercial Executive will be responsible for selling a mix of bespoke sponsorship packages and exhibition stands to a European client base.

There will be opportunities for international travel several times a year.

This role requires a highly articulate, sales-driven individual who enjoys building relationships and has a strong desire to close high-value sales.

Fluent German is essential for this role.

The Role:
  1. Generate new business, expand the pipeline, and develop new prospects.
  2. Sell high-value sponsorship and exhibition opportunities.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key accounts by planning and tailoring marketing activities using a consultative approach to grow year-over-year spending.
  4. Pitch to clients via phone and face-to-face meetings.
  5. Attend competitor events; travel is a key part of the role.
  6. Act as a market specialist, staying informed through internal and external resources.
  7. Utilize a consultative, creative, solution-led approach to sales.
Candidate Profile:
  1. Background in B2B sales, preferably in event sales, media sales, IT sales, or recruitment.
  2. Fluent in German is mandatory.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Proven success in achieving revenue targets.
  5. Experience with consultative sales approaches is essential.
