Our Telco Partner is seeking a qualified Lawyer (England and Wales) with over 10 years of PQE and expertise in handling complex commercial construction contracts.
You will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating tender documents, contracts, and other legal documents, including supplier/vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and services and maintenance agreements.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal services and commercially focused advice to internal teams, especially the In-Building Solutions, Procurement, and Senior Management teams.
- Lead negotiations on design and build, installation, services, and maintenance contracts, as well as concession agreements and negotiations with mobile network operators and other communication providers.
- Advise on public procurement tenders and framework agreements.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Telecommunications Security Act, data protection laws, and compliance issues, ensuring contracts adhere to UK data protection legislation.
- Develop standard templates, playbooks, and guidance to empower business teams.
- Supervise junior legal team members, oversee complex matters, and provide coaching.
- Offer strategic legal advice to Board and Executive Committee on contractual risks, influencing senior stakeholders.
- Stay updated on market trends, technology, growth opportunities, and competition, fostering external relationships.
- Identify and implement process improvements, develop precedent documents, and deliver training.
Experience
- Qualified Lawyer in England & Wales
- 10+ Years PQE
- Ability to manage a diverse portfolio, prioritize risks and rewards, and adapt to changing priorities
- Proactive and independent work ethic, collaborating with sales, delivery, and external advisors
- Experience with construction contracts (NEC3, NEC4, JCT)
- Experience with customer and supply contracts, including framework and master service agreements
- Interest and experience in technology/B2B products and services
- Knowledge of procurement contracting and working within a regulated sector
