Siemens Energy Limited in Newcastle Upon Tyne is recruiting a Commercial Contracts Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join the finance and commercial team. The role focuses on cost control, contract administration, and claims management for high-voltage substations across the UK.

Hybrid working arrangements stem from the project needs and site requirements. You will work closely with project managers, commercial project managers, and account teams to safeguard margins and ensure contractual compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying and contractual management within large-scale construction/engineering projects.
• Familiarity with NEC form of contract; MF/1 and FIDIC knowledge is a plus.
• Strong budgeting, risk, and claims management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and commercial teams in risk evaluation, forecasting, and cost control.
• Administer subcontracts and manage final account settlements with suppliers.
• Ensure timely contractual notifications and maintain accurate financial status reports for stakeholders.
• Lead change management, claims handling, and documentation to support project objectives.
• Provide contractual guidance to project teams and liaise with legal on subcontract terms.
