Provides cost management services from contract signature and award to completion of projects in various sectors. Provides leadership to managers & professionals.

- You will manage key assignments and business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery.
- You will prepare contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses for formal execution.
- You will manage costs related to design changes, contract awards, construction, and client charges, presenting these to clients.
- You will oversee the evaluation of claims for delay and additional costs, and advise on contract administration and final accounts.
- You will lead and develop a team of Cost Consultants, ensuring principles and responsibilities are in place to deliver excellence.
- You will drive system and process improvements, and work collaboratively with stakeholders towards net zero carbon transition.

Requirements:
- Experience delivering service excellence and in commercial management.
- Understanding of costs, timescales, risk management, and contract types.
- Knowledge of BIM, negotiation, analytical skills, and digital competence.
- Degree in quantity surveying or cost management, with relevant technical qualifications.
- Knowledge of contractual frameworks, value engineering, life cycle costing, and contract law.
- Effective communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience in risk management, team management, and project delivery within large teams.
- Awareness of sustainability, social value, and industry best practices.
Additional qualifications:
- Membership or progress towards MRICS/RICS or similar.
- Experience in business development and financial acumen.
- Understanding of carbon and sustainability impacts on projects.
