We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Administrator to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area, Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.

Due to a contract win we are looking for applicants all around the Yorkshire Regions

Location: Bradford
Hours of work: 40 hours per week

About the Role

Responsibilities - but not limited to:

Working alongside the Senior Commercial Analysts (QS) ensuring proper contractual administration of contract/project assigned, including value and cost control, and maintenance of contemporaneous records.
Accurately value works undertaken and where necessary provide records to substantiate cost to allow prompt issue of application for payment/invoice in line with contractual timescales.
Ensure change control process is managed effectively, including production of early warnings/variations, maximising entitlement.
Preparation of financial statements in respect to projects/contracts assigned, working with operational teams to confirm understanding of financial position, proactively instilling commercial awareness throughout the wider business.
Accept extra duties as situations arise.

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is crucial.
Able to work in a team.
Advanced Excel skills essential.
Previous experience and knowledge of utilities.

We are looking for a candidate who is looking to enhance their career within a Commercial environment. The role would be suited to a candidate who has strong advanced Excel skills and comes with a Financial background. If you have studied Quantity Surveying or have worked in a Commercial Department this would be advantageous.
