A truly independent insurance brokerage, whose MD previously worked at a global broker, is looking for a Senior Commercial Account Handler to take over a position from the current role holder who is retiring soon.

Joining a small yet highly knowledgeable team, you will be technically strong, with cross-class commercial lines experience and first-class client servicing skills.

As a senior Account Handler, you will fully support the MD with their day-to-day duties and will also be involved in various other areas of the business, which is the benefit of joining a small independent broker. Risks are typically within the SME to Mid Market sector, with the brokerage's main clientele being family-owned businesses with up to £10 million in turnover. There will be opportunities to get involved in areas such as compliance and claims, and there will be a client-facing element on occasion.
