Job title: Senior Commercial Account Handler

Location: Warwickshire

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Our client is looking for the right professional to fill an important role, and we’re here to help them find you.

As a Senior Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with tailored solutions. You will provide expert advice on a range of insurance policies, guiding clients through coverage options and securing the best possible terms. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting business growth within a dynamic brokerage, fostering strong relationships with clients and insurers to drive long-term success.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in Commercial Account Handling
  • Strong knowledge of General Commercial and Package Policies
  • Acturis proficiency preferred
  • Experience with mid-market and larger accounts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) is a plus

SKILLS

  • Strong communication and relationship-building
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise tasks
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Acturis and broking platforms

DAY TO DAY

  • Manage client portfolios and ensure their needs are met
  • Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business
  • Negotiate with insurers for best terms and coverage
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Support Account Executives with client servicing
  • Maintain excellent customer service and relationships
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments
