Job summary

KBR is seeking a Principal Coastal/Marine Engineer to support marine infrastructure, coastal engineering, port development, offshore facilities, and related projects. You will apply your expertise in surveys, geotechnical investigations, engineering studies, and simulations to plan, design, optimize and manage lifecycle activities.

The role requires a Civil/Coastal Engineering degree and experience with conceptual, FEED and detailed design of jetty or coastal structures, plus knowledge of

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering of jetty / coastal structure.
• In-depth knowledge of latest revisions of applicable design codes is a must.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks; work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Survey and Data Acquisition: support planning, execution and interpretation of marine, coastal and land-based survey programs; review and validate survey deliverables.
• Engineering Studies and Simulations: contribute to planning, execution and review of studies and simulations for marine, coastal and port infrastructure; prepare technical documentation.
