A local government authority is seeking a Senior Sports Coach to lead sports sessions and develop community involvement in physical activities. You will manage a team, design coaching programmes, and ensure high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 4 NGB qualification or equivalent experience. You will plan and manage sessions, supervise and support a team of coaches, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, inclusive activities.
You will help grow participation, support talent development so that participants can progress to compete at higher levels, and make sure that all sessions are safe, accessible and engaging.
You will hold a minimum Level 4 NGB qualification, or a Level 3 NGB qualification with extensive relevant experience and be working towards Level 4 (or equivalent).
You will have strong experience designing and delivering high-quality coaching programmes for children and young people and be confident leading both recreational and squad sessions.
You will be a natural leader who can manage, motivate and empower a team of coaches and volunteers, while acting as a positive role model for staff, participants and the wider community.
