Job summary

Technify Talent Limited in Cambridge is seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator for a precision engineering environment. You will set and operate turning centres and read engineering drawings to tight tolerances.

The role requires working with multi-axis machines, performing first-off and in-process inspection, and helping production with basic fault finding to ensure quality and on-time output.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC turning experience (ideally 5+ years).
• Strong understanding of drawings, tolerances, and inspection tools.
• Experience with multi-axis machines.
• Able to work independently with a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning centres (Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi).
• Work to engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
• Carry out first‑off and in‑process inspection.
• Support production with basic fault finding.
