Position: Senior CNC Machinist

Location: West Midlands

Salary: GBP32,000 - GBP42,000 + Excellent Benefits

The Company: Our client is a cutting-edge, multi-disciplined design and engineering leader, specialising in providing automation engineering services and solutions across diverse industries.

Due to sustained continued expansion, they are now seeking a Senior CNC Machinist to be responsible for the flow of work through the Machining Department and completion of work to project deadline demands.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Forecast labour and equipment requirements for work to be scheduled.
• Day-to-day management of direct reports, along with technical, professional and personal development.
• Leading improvement activity within the department.
• Setting and operating Haas TM-2P CNC mill (Fanuc controls)
• Complete programming using Openmind Hypermill or similar CAD/CAM package.

The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

• A HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• Setting and operating Haas TM-2P CNC mill (Fanuc controls).
• Programming using Openmind Hypermill or similar CAD/CAM package.

You will be self motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will enjoy a salary of GBP32,000 to GBP42,000 plus excellent prospects and an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
