Job summary

Phillips Corporation seeks an Onsite Machine Tool Maintenance Specialist for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. You will own the assessment and preventative maintenance across a broad range of machines, combining mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to ensure peak performance and safety.

Expect elite technical oversight, training, and strong reporting. Relocation to the Portsmouth, NH area is required with relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• 8 years or more of machine tool and/or industrial maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems.
• Relocation within commuting distance to Portsmouth, NH area; Phillips Corporation will assist relocation.
• PLC and controls experience including reading, troubleshooting and editing ladder logic in PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell-Collins, Heidenhain).
• Military background or experience in a regulated environment is a plus.
• Due to customer requirements, candidates must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Own assessment and preventative maintenance for a wide range of machine tools and production equipment.
• Provide expert-level reporting on equipment readiness to ensure production continuity.
• Maintain 100% accurate service reports and build elite relationships with Phillips Partners.
