Laborup is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe / Mill-Turn Machinist to join a precision manufacturing operation in Horsham, PA. This senior role requires owning parts from setup through finished production and using GD&T to verify tight tolerances.

You will set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and mill-turn equipment, perform complex setups, and edit programs at the machine. A strong background in tooling, inspection, and 5S practices is essential.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of experience in CNC machining.
• Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
• Ability to set up and run complex CNC jobs.
• Experience programming, editing, or making program adjustments at the machine.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and precision inspection.
• Knowledge of tooling, workholding, fixturing, speeds and feeds.
• Independently diagnose machining issues with minimal supervision.
• Experience with CNC lathes and mill-turn equipment.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and mill-turn equipment.
• Perform complex setups from setup through production.
• Make CNC program edits and adjustments at the machine.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T.
• Select cutting tools, inserts, workholding, fixtures, speeds, and feeds.
• Troubleshoot tooling, setup, dimensions, and machining issues.
• First-piece and in-process inspection with calipers/micrometers.
• Make offsets and process adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
• Monitor machine performance and address quality issues before production.
• Document production and quality information accurately.
• Maintain a clean 5S environment.
• Take ownership from setup to completed parts.
