Job summary

Durham County Council is seeking a Project Manager to steer a Digital Services programme through cloud migrations and supplier-led changes. You will coordinate technical teams, service owners and external suppliers, turning a portfolio of work into a deliverable, sequenced plan with accountable owners.

The role requires strong governance, risk and change management skills, plus the ability to surface issues early and drive decisions across organisational boundaries.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Experience of managing multiple complex projects and delivering significant organisational or technology change.
• Ability to establish structure quickly and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Turn the portfolio into a deliverable plan with clear sequencing and ownership.
• Coordinate technical teams, service owners, suppliers, Finance and Governance to manage dependencies, risks and budgets.
• Provide senior colleagues with clear progress views and actionable recommendations.
