Job summary

Royal London in Alderley Park is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing, self-managing engineering team delivering cloud-based solutions. You will design, develop and deploy full-stack applications using Angular, .NET, C#, APIs and Azure, contributing to frequent releases and continuous improvement within a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with testers and fellow engineers, review code, mentor juniors and help shape engineering standards while embracing modern

Qualifications

• Strong Angular and front-end development experience.
• Expertise in .NET, C# and API development for enterprise-scale apps.
• Experience delivering full-stack solutions across front-end and back-end.
• Solid knowledge of Azure Cloud services and deployment.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and implement high-quality software solutions meeting requirements.
• Develop complex full-stack applications using Angular, .NET, C#, APIs and Azure technologies.
• Assess impact of changes and contribute to solution design and technical decisions.
• Produce scalable, well-documented solutions; maintain engineering standards.
• Collaborate with testers and engineers to ensure quality at every stage.
• Support regular deployments into production and contribute to continuous delivery.
• Mentor developers in a self-managing Agile team and review code to raise standards.
