GSK is seeking a Senior Product Owner - Cloud to own the backlog and roadmap for the Cloud platform, translating team needs into prioritised work and maximizing value. You will collaborate with engineering to deliver increments, ensure alignment with strategy and OKRs, and measure adoption and outcomes over outputs.

Competenze

• Degree in a technology, engineering or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience (typically around 5 years) in product ownership or product management, including owning a backlog in a platform or infrastructure context.
• Experience delivering Cloud Services as a Product Owner or equivalent member of an Agile team
• Practical experience of lean or agile backlog management, including prioritisation by value and risk rather than by request order.
• Experience using Jira or a similar backlog management tool.
• Track record of translating business needs into requirements that engineering teams could deliver without repeated clarification.
• Experience working to OKRs and measuring adoption or value delivered rather than features shipped.
• Experience steering with flow metrics and acting on delivery predictability data.
• Experience managing stakeholders and declining requests with a defensible reason.
• Preferred Skills: Agile or product certifications, cloud platform certifications, FinOps, Pharma practices knowledge, AI tooling exposure

• Own and prioritise the product backlog by value, risk and reliability.
• Link backlog items to GSK D&T strategy and domain OKRs and measure outcomes with a named metric.
• Translate consumer needs into clear requirements and user stories for engineering.
• Work daily with engineering through refinement, planning and review and accept completed increments.
• Balance new capability against the reliability bar and agree SLOs with Reliability Engineering before committing to work.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate discovery, backlog refinement and requirement drafting and record reviewed AI output.
• Measure product adoption, self-service uptake and value delivered, iterating the roadmap accordingly.
• Steer delivery with flow metrics such as throughput, cycle time and WIP, acting on data rather than reporting.
